Learn the basics of sashiko embroidery, and use the running stitch to create geometric designs on a canvas zipper pouch. Registration is recommended. Walk-ins are welcome for any remaining space.

Sashiko is a traditional Japanese embroidery technique that uses a simple running stitch to create intricate, geometric patterns. It is often used to decorate, mend, and reinforce fabric. 

With the help of an in-person instructor and video tutorials from Creativebug, learn how to map out designs on a grid and stitch them onto a canvas zipper pouch. Supplies will be provided. Beginners welcome.
