Audubon Zoo Wild Visitors
Predator and Prey
Tuesday, June 09
10:30am - 11:30am
Alvar Library
Programming SpaceGet wild with an animal visitor from Audubon Zoo. Audubon Zoo educators will bring a unique, up close and personal visit from their incredible Animal Ambassadors.
The relationship between predator and prey is the heart of the food chain. Many adaptations in nature—from specialized teeth to camouflage to armor—are driven by the food chain, and each animal plays an important role in a balanced ecosystem.
This event is for children ages 6 - 12 and their caregivers.
Sponsored by the Friends of the New Orleans Public Library.
Alvar Library
Located in the Bywater neighborhood, Alvar Library was built by the WPA in 1940 and is a fine example of the Art Deco architectural style of that period.
