BE15 Basement training labThe Information, Technology and Innovation (ITI) department provides internet instruction on basic skills for job seeking, connecting with friends and family, improving job performance, and more.
The New Orleans Public Library and the Information, Technology and Innovation department are in partnership to provide this digital skills series. This course lays the foundation for the city's "Word I - Basic" and "Excel I - Basic" programs, setting you up for further digital success.

- Computer and equipment basics
- Internet fundamentals
- Microsoft Windows essentials
- Microsoft Office and Google Suite productivity tools
- Email and online research techniques
- Accessing online government resources (e.g., One Stop Shop, Social Security benefits)
