Prime Time Family Reading brings families with children ages 6 - 10 years old together through literature, learning, and dinner in a 6-week series.
Prime Time Family is designed for families with children ages 6 - 10 years, but siblings of any age are welcome to join.
Each 90-minute session is an evening of family fun at the Library that includes a free meal, complimentary book, read-alouds and engaging discussions. This is a 6-week program. Registration is required.
The books selected for this series are favorites of past Prime Time Family participants. Dr. Mona Lisa Saloy, poet and folklorist, will be lead discussions with families as the series scholar.
Sponsored by the Friends of the New Orleans Public Library and the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, with funds from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
