Crescent City Sounds is your gateway to curated, local music on an ad-free streaming platform. We add new albums through an open submission round each year. The submission period for 2026 will run from September 4th to October 2nd. All artists keep the rights to their music and will be paid an honorarium. Music is licensed for either a 5-year or perpetual term.

About the branch
Norman Mayer Library is named for New Orleans businessman and one of the original Tulane College of Commerce and Business guarantors, Norman Mayer. After his passing, his wife donated money to the New Orleans Public Library to have the Library opened. Doors opened in 1949, and the Library has been serving the Gentilly area since.
