Teens, attend in-person or online to discuss and celebrate the activism of young Black folks in our community.
Toni Jones, a member of Southerners on New Ground (SONG) and co-founder of the Real Name Campaign, will facilitate a conversation with local African American teens and "new adults” who engage in various forms of local activism. The discussion of their perspectives & experiences will be followed by a Q&A session with attendees.
This is a hybrid event with both virtual and in-person access. Attend in person at the Main Library, or click the "Register" button to sign up for the Zoom meeting.

The Main Library, located in the Central Business District, opened in December 1958. The building, encompassing three main floors and two sub-basements, is the Library's flagship location, providing the system's largest collection of popular and research sources.
The Main Library offers a wide collection of books, music, and movies, and hosts many programs for children, teens, and adults.
