Glass Recycling Drop Off
With Glassroots
Monday, August 17
4:30pm - 6:30pm
Mid-City Library
Programming SpaceBring your clean glass to recycle. Glass is turned into sand for use in coastal restoration, green infrastructure projects, and more. Glass is only accepted during program hours.
Please do not drop off glass outside of program hours. Unattended glass on the premises is unsafe for everyone and has to be thrown away.
If you have a bulk amount of glass to recycling, more than a City trash can full, please consider taking your glass directly to Glass Half Full's Main Recycling Drop Off site. For more information visit glasshalffull.co/drop-off.

Mid-City Library
In 2016, Mid-City Library relocated to The Automotive Life Insurance Company Building. Built in 1963, this mid-century modern gem was designed by Curtis & Davis Architects, who are also known for designing the Superdome and the Main Library on Loyola Ave. In 2010, the building was recognized as a historic landmark by the New Orleans Historic District Landmarks Commission.
