Develop a lifelong love of reading in your family through Prime Time Preschool Reading. This 6-week series is designed for families with children ages 3 - 5 years old. Registration is required.
Prime Time Preschool Reading brings families together through literature and learning. Each 90-minute session is an evening of family fun at the Library that includes a free meal, complimentary book, read-alouds, engaging discussions, and hands-on activities. This is a six-week program designed for families with children ages 3 - 5 years, but siblings of any age are welcome to join. Registration is required.

Norman Mayer Library is named for New Orleans businessman and one of the original Tulane College of Commerce and Business guarantors, Norman Mayer. After his passing, his wife donated money to the New Orleans Public Library to have the Library opened. Doors opened in 1949, and the Library has been serving the Gentilly area since.
