The 3rd annual Genfest will feature programs and tables from over 40 genealogical, cultural, historical, and preservation groups, with professional speakers on the foundations of genealogy research.
With each year, GenFest gets bigger and better. This year, we get back to basics with programs designed to help you get started with your genealogy research and how to pass your work along to the next generation. We will feature four great speakers, including City Archives & Special Collections staff walking you through how to navigate our own genealogy resources. This year’s panel will focus on how to preserve legacy and pass down what you have learned. Additionally, there will be over 40 organizations from the areas of genealogy, museums, cultural heritage, and preservation to talk to and learn from.
