Families looking for a welcoming and comfortable space for neurodivergent children can join us for an inclusive and interactive storytime. Space is limited. Registration is required.
This smaller, adaptive storytime is inclusive and accessible to all, including children who are physically and developmentally aged 2 - 5 years old. This program is designed to help children explore their senses and learn in a way that is both fun and engaging, through stories, sensory bins, and more.

Norman Mayer Library is named for New Orleans businessman and one of the original Tulane College of Commerce and Business guarantors, Norman Mayer. After his passing, his wife donated money to the New Orleans Public Library to have the Library opened. Doors opened in 1949, and the Library has been serving the Gentilly area since.
