Have fun while volunteering with kids at the Library.
8th - 12th graders may sign up to volunteer as Big Math Buddies to help 3rd - 6th graders improve their math skills and learn some math games. Light dinner will be served.
Big Math Buddies are asked to commit to attending all 3 sessions on the following Thursday evenings, plus an online orientation for new volunteers (time TBD):
This opportunity provides just over 6 volunteer hours over 3 weeks. A brief phone interview and online orientation are required prior to volunteering with this program.

Sponsored by the Friends of the New Orleans Public Library.
Norman Mayer Library is named for New Orleans businessman and one of the original Tulane College of Commerce and Business guarantors, Norman Mayer. After his passing, his wife donated money to the New Orleans Public Library to have the Library opened. Doors opened in 1949, and the Library has been serving the Gentilly area since.
