Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with an evening of rest, joy, and connection that celebrates community care, civic engagement, and resistance through the radical power of rest and play.
Lay Your Burdens Down invites us all to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy beyond labor and protest, recognizing that joy, rest, and togetherness are vital forms of justice and restoration. Inspired by the Nap Ministry’s call that “Rest is Resistance,” we’ll create space to breathe, connect, and simply be. Come rest, laugh, and fellowship with your community as we honor Dr. King’s dream of collective liberation through care and renewal.
