Best Buy Teen Tech Center

Discover all the Best Buy Teen Tech Center (BBTTC) has to offer. The BBTTC is open to all ages on the 1st Tuesday of every month.

The BBTTC is a free drop-in space at Main Library where teens can have fun and develop skills, exploring their interests through hands-on, project-based learning. We waive the age restriction once a month for community members to check out what the Best Buy Teen Tech Center has to offer. There will be some restrictions on supplies and technology.

The Best Buy Teen Tech Center at the New Orleans Public Library is a member of The Clubhouse Network, a collaboration with the MIT Media Lab.

About the branch

The Main Library, located in the Central Business District, opened in December 1958. The building, encompassing three main floors and two sub-basements, is the Library's flagship location, providing the system's largest collection of popular and research sources.

The Main Library offers a wide collection of books, music, and movies, and hosts many programs for children, teens, and adults.
