Programming SpaceLearn the basics of cross stitch, and stitch a poppy motif using cross stitches, half stitches, and backstitch. Beginners welcome. Registration recommended.
Participants will receive a cross stitch kit including a 6" embroidery hoop, 14 count aida fabric, instruction sheet, colored floss, and a needle. Get started stitching with us, and finish the project at home.
This project requires close work. If you wear reading glasses, be sure to bring them.
Registration is recommended as kits are limited. Registered spots will be held until 4:40pm, then released to those waiting in person.

Alvar Library
Located in the Bywater neighborhood, Alvar Library was built by the WPA in 1940 and is a fine example of the Art Deco architectural style of that period.
