Get introduced to the French language through music at this bilingual workshop for ages 6 - 12.
Learn about different types of percussion instruments, describe sounds, create rhythms, and sing a song in French together. The workshop is taught in French and English and open to students of all levels.
This event is for children ages 6 - 12 and their caregivers.
In partnership with Alliance Française de La Nouvelle-Orléans. Sponsored by the Friends of New Orleans Public Library.

Milton H. Latter Memorial Library is located on St. Charles Avenue. The 1907 neo-Italianate mansion was generously donated to the city by the Latter family to serve as a library in memory of their son. Today the branch offers programs for all ages as well as reading rooms, computers, printers, and wi-fi.
