Are you ready to turn your manuscript into a professional-quality e-book or print-ready book file? Whether you’re a seasoned author with multiple completed works or you’re just getting started writing a brand new project, you can create beautifully designed book files for free with the New Orleans Public Library’s Pressbooks Public e-resource. This hands-on session will walk you through the entire process step-by-step, from setting up a Pressbooks account to formatting and exporting your book file(s). No design or tech experience is necessary.
This is a hybrid event conducted over Zoom with both virtual and in-person access. Click the "Register" button to sign up for the Zoom meeting, or attend in-person in the Main Library Computer Lab to watch and learn alongside other writers.

The Main Library, located in the Central Business District, opened in December 1958. The building, encompassing three main floors and two sub-basements, is the Library's flagship location, providing the system's largest collection of popular and research sources.
The Main Library offers a wide collection of books, music, and movies, and hosts many programs for children, teens, and adults.
