Read, sing, and enjoy activities about social justice concepts. A series of six family storytimes run by two of our children's librarians.
Week One Topic - Y'all Means All: Celebrating Our Differences
Read picture books together and start sharing social justice concepts, such as fairness, empathy, and appreciation for diversity. In this series of six special family storytimes, two of our children's librarians will share books, songs, and activities geared towards sharing and celebrating these important concepts with children ages 5 and up and their caregivers. Siblings are also welcome.
While participants are encouraged to attend the entire series, we understand that schedules don't always permit. You are welcome to attend whenever you are able.
In partnership with Conscious Roots. Sponsored by The Friends of New Orleans Public Library.
