Calling all teen musicians! Stop by to talk to a curator and ask all your questions about submitting music to Crescent City Sounds. The 2025 Submission Round is open September 2 - October 7.
This event is for teens only. Adults seeking to learn more about Crescent City Sounds are invited to our Ask a Curator sessions happening at several branches during September.
Crescent City Sounds is the Library's totally free, totally local music streaming service. If selected, artists are paid an honorarium to license their music for streaming on our platform. Musicians retain all rights to their work.

The Main Library, located in the Central Business District, opened in December 1958. The building, encompassing three main floors and two sub-basements, is the Library's flagship location, providing the system's largest collection of popular and research sources.
The Main Library offers a wide collection of books, music, and movies, and hosts many programs for children, teens, and adults.
