Dance, wiggle, and stretch as we use music and movement to practice early literacy skills. This program is designed for children ages 2 - 5 and their caregivers.
Dance, wiggle, and stretch along with your child through the Music and Movement series, as they also build the foundations of reading and writing.

This is a recurring program. It takes place Mondays unless otherwise noted.

In 2016, Mid-City Library relocated to The Automotive Life Insurance Company Building. Built in 1963, this mid-century modern gem was designed by Curtis & Davis Architects, who are also known for designing the Superdome and the Main Library on Loyola Ave. In 2010, the building was recognized as a historic landmark by the New Orleans Historic District Landmarks Commission.
