Learn basic stitches while knitting a cup cozy. This class is geared toward adult beginners and knitters with basic skills. Registration is recommended. Walk-ins are welcome for any remaining space.
This class will include instruction on how to cast on and work knit and purl stitches. Beginners can work toward a simple garter stitch cozy, while more experienced knitters can experiment with more complex designs. Size 8 (5mm) knitting needles and yarn will be provided for use during the program, but if you'd like to practice with your own needles, please bring them along.
Bring your favorite cup or mug if you'd like to customize your cozy to fit, or work on a basic design that will fit most commercial coffee cups.
