Learn to sew a half apron, with instructors from ricRACK. Beginners welcome. Registration required.
Join an instructor from ricRACK, a local upcycling and fabric sustainability nonprofit, for a single-session sewing class perfect for adventurous beginners or those who want to brush up on their sewing skills. The class will cover the basics of machine sewing while guiding you through the process of sewing a half apron with customizable pockets and bias tape waist ties. Sewing machines will be available for your use and fabric and supplies will be provided by ricRACK.
Registration is required as sewing machines are limited.

The Main Library, located in the Central Business District, opened in December 1958. The building, encompassing three main floors and two sub-basements, is the Library's flagship location, providing the system's largest collection of popular and research sources.
The Main Library offers a wide collection of books, music, and movies, and hosts many programs for children, teens, and adults.
