Build math confidence and have fun along the way. Join Make It Count Math and teen mentors for a 3 week series with math games to increase math skills. Open to 3rd - 6th graders, meal included.
Elementary students will explore math in a fun, low‑pressure learning environment through games, math mysteries, and hands‑on activities that build fluency and confidence. Sessions are led by Make It Count Math with support from teen mentors who encourage problem‑solving and positive attitudes toward math. Light dinner provided.
Make It Count Math is a New Orleans organization that works to help kids grow math confidence, improve math skills, and apply math everywhere in life.

Norman Mayer Library is named for New Orleans businessman and one of the original Tulane College of Commerce and Business guarantors, Norman Mayer. After his passing, his wife donated money to the New Orleans Public Library to have the Library opened. Doors opened in 1949, and the Library has been serving the Gentilly area since.
