NOPL at Family Day at New Orleans Book Festival

Avron B. Fogelman ArenaFamily Day at the New Orleans Book Festival is a free, family focused event that includes author readings, book-related activities, and a book giveaway.
Meet a diverse selection of local and national authors who will read and sign books throughout the day. Find something that appeals to kids of all reading levels, backgrounds, and interests. Stop by educational and nonprofit tables for engaging literacy activities. Screen the new short film “Goodnight Hairiette” by visiting author and actress Tanya Wright. Bring home a new story with a free book giveaway hosted by Scholastic.

Free Family Day shuttles are available at the following locations:
- Norman Mayer Library - 3001 Gentilly Boulevard, New Orleans
- Algiers Regional Library - 3014 Holiday Drive, New Orleans
- East New Orleans Regional Library - 5641 Read Boulevard, New Orleans
- Baldwin & Co. Coffee + Bookstore - 1030 Elysian Fields Avenue, New Orleans
- The East Bank Regional Library - 4747 W. Napoleon Ave, Metairie
- The Terrytown Branch Library - 680 Heritage Avenue, Terrytown
Shuttles will depart from these locations at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and drop off at Tulane’s uptown campus. Return shuttles to these locations will leave Tulane’s uptown campus at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
