Author Janis Kearney shares her experiences writing her newly released biography of Mahalia Jackson, "Only on Sunday: Mahalia Jackson's Long Journey".

Author, lecturer, and publisher Janis Kearney will read excerpts from her book and tell stories about Mahalia Jackson's life and her influence on the Civil Rights Movement in a conversation with Shukrani Gray, African American Resource Collection, Equity and Inclusion Librarian.
