Ride with the AARC, Get Up N Ride NOLA, and Sistahs on Wheels, celebrating Kwanzaa and the historic Bayou Road Business Corridor. Wear your red, black, and green for Kujichagulia / Self-determination.
The African American Resource Collection (AARC) presents Kwanzaa Night Bike Ride to support local New Orleans Black businesses and promote healthy life choices. Beginning at the French Market, on the corner of N. Peters St. and Barracks St., this community bike ride will follow a route that highlights local Black businesses on Bayou Road.
Riders will meet with their own bikes at the French Market at 7pm. The ride will begin at 7:45pm. Please wear red, black, and green in the spirit of the second principle of Kwanzaa—Kujichagulia, Self-determination—to honor Black unity and Black businesses.
In partnership with Get Up N Ride Nola and Sistahs on Wheels Bike Club. Sponsored by Capital One Bank and The Friends of the New Orleans Public Library.
