A screening of "This is New Orleans: Stories of Truth and Hope," along with a Q&A session about the causes of gun violence and its impact. Visit the lobby for a gun safe giveaway.
This screening and community discussion are led by Enrichment 2 Empowerment. The program empowers young people to explore the root causes of violence and its impact on individuals, families, and communities. As part of their mission, participants interviewed dozens of New Orleanians to uncover the realities of violence in the city—its challenges, solutions, and sources of hope.
They have compiled the most compelling conversations into a 25-minute documentary, This is New Orleans: Stories of Truth and Hope. This event marks the next step in their social action campaign, using their firsthand experiences and insights to advocate for meaningful change. Support these young changemakers as they turn knowledge into action. Your presence strengthens the call for a safer, more empowered New Orleans.
In partnership with Tulane Violence Prevention Institute, Enrichment 2 Empowerment, and Ubuntu Village NOLA.
