GenFest 2025 celebrates the power of place and how it shapes our community.

This year's GenFest will feature over 50 local genealogical, cultural, historical and preservation groups; four educational speakers; and a panel discussion from experts and partners. We are thrilled to present a session in partnership with Leonard Smith, III on our Housing Authority of New Orleans digitization project and to highlight HANO's impact on community and culture.
