Creative and interactive playtime featuring giant-sized building materials. Spark creativity and promote imaginative play.
Children choose building materials, think about what they want to build, draw what they want to create, and use the chosen materials to build what they designed. This program is for children 2-5 years old to enhance their Library experience through loose parts play and encourage communication, cooperation, and problem-solving skills.
Milton H. Latter Memorial Library is located on St. Charles Avenue. The 1907 neo-Italianate mansion was generously donated to the city by the Latter family to serve as a library in memory of their son. Today the branch offers programs for all ages as well as reading rooms, computers, printers, and wi-fi.
