Learn from Bike Easy experts how to make quick fixes on the go using the Library’s new bike repair stations and get other maintenance tips to keep you in gear. Open to all experience levels.
This 2-hour workshop will focus on the basics of bike maintenance; and, participants will leave with an expanded knowledge of how to diagnose problems on their bikes. Work in groups to practice hands-on maintenance and hear a short discussion of commuting basics, safe riding tips, and being a vehicle on the road. Instructors will be happy to answer questions about bike fit, equipment, and rules of the road. Participants do not need to provide their own bikes.

Norman Mayer Library is named for New Orleans businessman and one of the original Tulane College of Commerce and Business guarantors, Norman Mayer. After his passing, his wife donated money to the New Orleans Public Library to have the Library opened. Doors opened in 1949, and the Library has been serving the Gentilly area since.
