Dominican singer and writer FERMÍN will recite works from his bilingual poetry book "Pisando Mi Sombra" ("Walking My Shadow") and perform songs and rhythms in Portugués, English, and Spanish.
José Fermín "FERMÍN" Ceballos plays the accordion, guitar, and piano, and speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese. He has been recognized twice by the Department of Agriculture of the United States for his contribution to music and culture in New Orleans. He performs original compositions based on his fusion of different sounds and musical rhythms. The lyrics and melodies captivate audiences with their unique musical and poetic mix. On April 6, 2019, he launched his first book of poems in Spanish and English, Pisando Mi Sombra (Walking my Shadow) at an event held at the Dominican Commission of Culture in New York City.
