Citizen science allows volunteers of all ages and skill sets to answer real-world questions and collect data. In this family-friendly workshop, citizen scientists will learn about ways they can contribute to scientific data collection, including a local project with I See Change. Attendees will receive rain gauges from I See Change and learn how to install them to record the amount of water they collect.
In partnership with I See Change. Sponsored by Friends of the New Orleans Public Library.

In 2016, Mid-City Library relocated to The Automotive Life Insurance Company Building. Built in 1963, this mid-century modern gem was designed by Curtis & Davis Architects, who are also known for designing the Superdome and the Main Library on Loyola Ave. In 2010, the building was recognized as a historic landmark by the New Orleans Historic District Landmarks Commission.
