Drop in for some STEM/STEAM sensory “play recipes” for children. Play for a bit and bring friends for a play date. For ages 1 - 5.
Rotating activities will include the following: painting color wheels, cardboard tower building, sticky wall, animal yoga, stringing beads, sink or float, and a variety of bins filled with sensory materials such as shredded paper, rice, play sand, etc.
We will practice asking open-ended “what” questions designed to help your tiny scientist discover and describe the wonderful world around them. Experiments are sure to make messes, so be sure to wear appropriate clothing.
Fridays in June and July unless otherwise noted. There will be no meeting on July 5.

Located in the Bywater neighborhood, Alvar Library was built by the WPA in 1940 and is a fine example of the Art Deco architectural style of that period.
