Students will learn fiction writing in this four-part class. For ages 18 & over. Registration is required.
Students will learn fiction writing with award-winning author Stephen Rea, a native of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Writers of all levels are welcome. Please call the Library at 504-596-2667 to register for the class. Sponsored by Poets & Writers, thanks to a grant from the Hearst Foundations.

Located in the Bywater neighborhood, Alvar Library was built by the WPA in 1940 and is a fine example of the Art Deco architectural style of that period.
